“We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals.” ~Immanuel Kant

Take a few minutes to get on the Soi Dog Foundation website and send some emails to the Vietnamese and Thai embassies protesting this horrible bloody business. The bastards who do this should be put on the receiving end of it themselves. Living in SE Asia I really miss having dogs as good mates – you can’t afford to get attached to them over here. Dogs are better people than most people I reckon.

I don’t begrudge people eating anything they need to eat if they are hungry, and if eating dog is part of the culture so be it – but do it humanely, there is not need for them to suffer.

“It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life, gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are.” ~Unknown
